RICHARDSON, Texas – Texans CU said Friday it collected $194,000 during its one-week fundraising drive for United Way of Dallas.

More than 250 employees participated in the one-week campaign, with 23 individuals investing at the Leadership Society level with a minimum $1,000 donation. All employee contributions were matched dollar for dollar by the credit union. Additionally, Texans matched member gifts $.50 to each dollar.
Texans and its employees have given nearly $1 million to United Way over the past ten years.
