BASTROP, Texas – Local credit unions and banks partnered to create a short-term, low-interest loan program for local businesses affected by the recent wildfire.

The Bastrop County Wildfire Recovery Loan program will offer access gap financing through a 180-day, three percent single pay note loan until insurance proceeds are received. Bastrop County lenders will control the funding and administration of the program.
Participating lenders include Greater Texas FCU, A+ FCU, First National Bank, Prosperity Bank, Roscoe State Bank, Classic Bank, First State Bank, Frontier Bank of Texas, TrustTexas Bank, and First State Bank of Central Texas.
