Texas Trust Credit Union CFO announces retirement

David Pickney, chief financial officer of Texas Trust Credit Union, will retire from his position this year.

Pickney first joined the Arlington, Texas-based credit union in 2010, and has since gone on to direct and manage the $1.7 billion-asset credit union’s financial planning and accounting teams, which include commercial lending, information technology, risk management and others.

Most recently, Texas Trust announced it had inked an agreement to merge with the $63 million-asset Texas Federal Credit Union in Dallas, after members of the Dallas-based institution voted in favor of the deal.

“David is one of the finest human beings I have ever met,” Jim Minge, CEO of Texas Trust Credit Union, said in the press release. “He is calm, compassionate, and has provided great counsel in his leadership here. He is a true example of success and has worked diligently to position Texas Trust for long-term prosperity.”
