SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Golden 1 CU will implement Fiserv’s Consumer Source Capture product which allows consumers to deposit checks from their home PCs, the $7 billion credit union said yesterday.
The Golden 1 is the first credit union to utilize the ASP version of the remote deposit capture product and one of the first companies to implement this solution. The Golden 1 is integrating remote deposit capture into its existing online banking and payments solutions from Fiserv, which are Voyager Consumer Banking and CheckFree RXP.
Consumer Source Capture is an easy-to-use solution that allows consumers or small business owners to electronically scan and deposit checks from any location with a PC, a scanner and an Internet connection. The system guides consumers through the steps of creating a deposit ticket, scanning the check, entering deposit details and confirming the deposit. Consumer Source Capture can be installed as a new remote deposit capture product or integrated as an add-on with any existing RDC solution used by the institution.
