Three Midwestern credit unions plan core conversions

Three Midwestern credit unions have converted to Fiserv for their core processing platform.

Ideal Credit Union in Woodbury, Minn., TopLine Federal Credit Union in Maple Grove, Minn., and Dakota West Credit Union in Watford City, N.D., have switched to the DNA account processing platform to streamline work and end manual processes, Fiserv said on Wednesday. The $730 million-asset Ideal will run DNA in-house while the $460 million-asset TopLine and the $254 million-asset Dakota West will use a Fiserv data center.

“Technology and the way we deliver financial products and services is ever-evolving,” Tom Smith, president and CEO of TopLine, said in the press release. “The investments Fiserv makes in research and development show that the Fiserv team is looking to the future and will help us meet our members’ needs.”

Raddon, a unit of Fiserv, also announced earlier this week that more than 150 financial institutions have selected its Integrator Advance product from Fiserv to upgrade their customer marketing efforts. Raddon said that the platform helps financial institutions to “accurately segment” their members or customers and “market directly to them” based on analytics.

Bill Handel, vice president of research, Raddon, said that its clients have showed “how data and insights can be harnessed to help credit unions know, act and grow by delivering a more relevant and engaging experience – which is key in today’s increasingly crowded and competitive financial environment.”
