SCRANTON, Penn. – Tobyhanna Army Depot FCU broke ground last week for a new home in the downtown area here.
The former location of the Holiday Manor will house a three-story, 24,000-square-foot building with a credit union office and a drive-through. Officials have estimated the new facility will cost $4 million to build.
Credit union officials hope to have the building complete in 12 months.
The credit union sold its current building at 300 Mulberry St. for $1.5 million.
