POTTSTOWN, Penn. – Tri County Area FCU sponsored the bedroom makeover for an eight-year-old girl who has been battling ganglioneuroblastoma since she was 5 years old.
The room was the first of four the credit union will sponsor, along with Designing 4 Hope this year.
The credit union announced a yearlong commitment to help Designing 4 Hope give critically ill children their dream bedrooms. They plan to sponsor four bedroom makeovers in 2012, one per quarter, for a total of $10,000.
The nonprofit Designing 4 Hope was founded by a local interior decorator who has been inspired to help critically ill children by giving them something to help them rest a bit easier – the bedroom they’ve always wanted. She said her goal is to design and renovate rooms providing the children with a special place to rest, recover, heal and dream.
