Two Banks Shuttered, Making 25 Failures For 2011

WASHINGTON – Regulators closed two banks Friday, the 24th and 25th bank failures so far in 2011.

Friday’s failures were: Legacy Bank, a $190 million Milwaukee institution, and First National Bank of Davis, a $90 million bank in Davis, Okla.

There have been five credit union failures so far this year.
