PANAMA CITY, Fla. – Dozens of Tyndall FCU members have reported fraud on their credit card statements and police are investigating potential ties to local merchants.

Police said the victims are all from the local area most of the transactions are being conducted with a counterfeit card using the victims debit card information. The transactions are being conducted in South Florida, in Tampa and the Jacksonville area.
The stolen information is being used at major retail stores and area gas stations.
Tyndall Federal officials say they're checking customers' account for any suspicious activity. They've also issued new debit cards to compromised accounts.
