CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI CU has contracted with Dwolla to implement the company’s integration product, FiSync, which offers members an expedited Dwolla sign-up process.
After signing up for a Dwolla account – a process that takes less than a minute – members of the credit union will be able to make payments to anyone with a mobile phone number or e-mail address, as well as their Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter connections. “With Dwolla, we are able to provide our members with a fast, easy and secure way to send and receive money from their bank accounts,” said Robert Hill, marketing director for the $17-million credit union.
Members will be able to download the Dwolla mobile application, Dwolla Spots, which allows users to make payments via their smart phone. The app displays a map of Dwolla-accepting merchants based on their smart phone’s current location.
