DALLAS - Ask Texas’ credit union leaders about their forecasts for their own operations, and most are pretty optimistic. But ask them about the economy or even other CUs, and they are downright pessimistic.
The dichotomy in Texas explored in this CU Journal Special Report is something of a microcosm for the U.S. in general–credit unions either say they are in a storm or there is one on the horizon, but they expect to escape pretty much unscathed.
