ANN ARBOR, Mich. – University of Michigan CU announced this afternoon it hired Detroit native Tiffany Ford, a former executive at Michigan State University FCU, as president and CEO of the $450 million credit union.
Ford, who spent 11 years as an executive at the MSU FCU, is succeeding Jeff Trapp, who spent 20 years at the University of Michigan CU and was named CEO in 2007. Trapp moved out of state last year, prompting the executive search.
