US Airways FCU said it has contracted with Maxxar Corp. to expand its telephone lending system by adding voice recognition technology. The technology will allow members to bypass credit union agents and directly apply for consumer or real estate loans without using touchtone keypads. The $640-million credit union plans to gradually roll out the technology to members throughout the rest of the year.
