USERS, Inc., a unit of Fiserv Inc., hosted more than 500 attendees at EdCon 2006 last week, the company's 23rd annual educational conference. Built around a theme of "The Power of Trusted Partners," the meeting focused on the company's current and future product plans, in addition to the sharing of best practices.
Keynoter Mark Sievewright, senior vice president of Fiserv and former president of TowerGroup, offered insights on what it takes to succeed in a competitive market, while author and Emmy Award-winner John Powers addressed the topic of "Passion: Do What You Love, Love What You Do," during the business meeting of TUG, a national, independent group of USERS' clients.
EdCon 2006 offered 30 different educational sessions on topics such as building a sales culture, multi-factor authentication, streamlined account opening and BSA reporting.
USERS' next client conference is the 2007 User Group Meeting, to be held April 16-18, 2007 in Philadelphia.
