SALT LAKE CITY - (09/23/05) -- The Utah League of CUs' 100% forKids CU Education Foundation said it donated $19,000 to four localschool districts to finance literacy projects. The funds will besued by three schools: Manila Elementary School, Pleasant Grove;Cascade Elementary School, Orem; and Sharon Elementary School,Orem, to buy books; and by a fourth, Scera Park Elementary School,Orem, to buy literacy enhancement computer programs. The league'seducation foundation has awarded more than $3 million to Utahschools ver the past two years.
