SEATTLE Verity CU is offering area moms a chance to win $20,000 and the title of “Verity Mom” for a year in its Verity mom Blogger contest.
The Verity Mom contest is a search for the next wildly creative, funny and talented Seattle-area mom to be a part-time blogger and spokesperson for the $400-million credit union’s VerityMom.com for one year. This special mom will earn $20,000, and will receive a new laptop computer and a video camera to keep.
Applicants must submit their 1-minute video, blog post and application form by noon PDT on Thursday, Oct. 3. Next, a public vote for the shortlist will take place from Oct. 7 to 14.
The winner will replace current Verity Mom blogger Danielle Gahl, who says the experience has been one she will never forget. “I have had a great time meeting people online, getting to know other great moms in the Seattle area, helping spread good will and more than $5,000 in prizes to local causes,” said Gahl.
