VIFI said it has expanded its new wireless product to allow credit unions and other financial institutions to access their financial information through Palm OS compatible devices, including the Palm V hand-held, Palm VII handheld, and Handspring Visor. Previously, the product only supported web-enabled cell phones.
The product is one of the few that allows users to edit, change and make bill payments from their mobile devices.

Familiar Names In Key Posts
PLANO, Texas-Aurum Technology, Inc., which was spun off from EDS one year ago, has named several personnel to key posts who will be familiar to credit unions. Aurum Technology provides IT services and item processing to credit unions, and has named Paul Duckham as its COO, and credit union veteran Santo Cannone to head its Orlando-based MISER division.
CheckFree Rolls Out New GUI
ATLANTA-CheckFree Investment Services is launching CheckFree APL Plus, a new graphical user interface (GUI) and client/server extension of the UNIX-based CheckFree APL platform. CheckFree APL Plus will offer easy access to trading tools for portfolio managers and brokers, the firm said., featuring manager screens that display account holdings and transaction and performance data that can be customized by the end-user.

Tech Consulting Firm Is Launched
