PORTLAND, Me. - (04/27/05) -- Synergent said it has implementedVSoft's Branch Capture and Check 21 Returns solutions which allowsits credit union customers to use image exchange to transport theirteller deposits. VSoft Branch Item Capture allows credit union's tocapture deposits at their branches using a low speed scanner, thenby sending the files to Synergent electronically for final creditto the credit union. Synergent is a CUSO owned by the Maine CULeague. Currently 40 Synergent credit unions have adopted VSoftBranch Item Capture, with the CUSO's remaining 70 credit unionsexpected to do so over the next year.
