JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – VyStar CU said yesterday it has signed with Cardtronics to place its brand on Cardtronics-owned ATMs in 10 Walgreens stores located in Alachua County in northeastern Florida.
The VyStar-branded ATMs will provide fee-free ATM access to all VyStar members, increasing connections between them and the credit union. The VyStar brand will be placed prominently on the ATM itself and on its transaction screens, which the credit union said will cost effectively expand awareness for the VyStar brand while providing a tangible member benefit.
“The branding program from Cardtronics allows VyStar to tap into one of the nation’s most recognized retail brands, Walgreens, to provide enhanced service to our current members and brand awareness for prospective members,” said Judy Walz, senior vice president of marketing and strategic planning for the $4 billion credit union. “This opportunity provides VyStar with an efficient, low-cost way to increase our market presence and help acquire new members.”
