OLYMPIA, Wash. – Washington State Employees CU has granted 27 scholarships totaling more then $40,000 to members pursuing a degree at a two- or four-year college.

Winners were chosen based on several criteria, including academic record, financial need, community involvement and a written essay. Recipients who will attend a four-year or post-graduate institution this fall received $2,000 scholarships.
Students enrolled in two-year community college or vocational programs this fall received $1,000 scholarships.
