DENVER-The Colorado and Wyoming CU Association has launched "FoolProof," a web-based program providing free financial literacy programs. FoolProof is designed to teach people of all ages about money, financial responsibility and the realities of the free enterprise system while promoting credit unions as safe and sound financial institutions.
"With most of the economy in shambles, credit unions are in a unique position to make not only our members but all consumers 100% financially 'FoolProof'," said John Dill, President of Credit Union Strategic Partners (CUSP).
The program includes videos, articles, games, animations, music, and year-round adult and youth consumer we sites featuring videos and podcasts. Colorado CUs offering this program include: Arapahoe CU, Aurora Schools FCU, Bellco CU, Boulder Valley CU, College CU, Colorado United CU, Columbine Federal CU, Community Choice CU, Denver Water CU, Electrical Federal CU, Elevations CU, Fellowship CU, Foothills CU, Horizons North CU, Jeffco CU, Junction Bell Federal CU, Mountain River CU, Norbel CU, Public Service CU, School District 3 Federal CU, Sooper CU, St. Vrain Valley CU, Weld Schools CU, Westerra CU, and White Crown FCU.
