Website On Merger Issues Gets Interactive Upgrade

FOREST GROVE, Ore.-Merger Solutions Group (MSG) has added new functionality to its website to help CUs answer merger-related questions and stay on top of merger news.

MSG now has available full credit union merger news feed pages both on its website and through Twitter, and is allowing CUs to ask former CU CEO Ray Alexander merger-related questions. MSG President David Bartoo said the "Ask Ray" feature is free, and noted that Alexander has handled over 200 mergers in the Northeast in his 40-plus years in the CU industry. Alexander said he began working with MSG to help credit unions easily and successfully navigate the merger process. "No other firm in the country has the sole focus of just handling credit union mergers," Alexander said.

Credit unions of any size can reach Alexander through a confidential message via the MSG website or by calling him directly.

"As a leader in this merger space and having several hundred credit unions already getting our news updates, we wanted to have a one-stop shop for all credit union merger news," said Bartoo. "The news feeds will include all merger-related articles, any information we feel impacts merger activity, and preliminary and final merger approvals. The news will tweet daily and will be updated on the website daily, as well as e-mailed and archived for future reference by any credit union."
