PASADENA, Calif. - (10/19/04) -- Wescom CU said Monday it has closeddown its last remaining cashless branch in Mission Viejo, Calif.,and is redirecting members to its full-service branch down the roadin Laguna Nigel. The shuttering of the are cashless branch wasnecessitated because of the demands of the credit union's growingmembership, according to Max Sucee, spokesman for the $2.8 billioncredit union. The cashless branch, opened in 1997, offered nomonetary transactions.
