What Will New Corporate Rule Look Like and Will It Be Enough?

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — NCUA has spent the better part of the last few weeks telegraphing what lies ahead in its proposed regulations for corporate credit unions.

While some within credit unions have called for wholesale changes to the structure and mission of corporates, and others have gone so far as to question the need for corporates at all, it appears the federal agency will be taking a more modest approach in line with proposals from the trade associations.
