WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita FCU on Saturday will break ground on a 10,000-square-foot facility in East Wichita that will be its main branch.
The $77-million credit union bought a parcel from Wichita-based TECU CU. The project’s total cost is estimated to be $1.8 million.
Wichita Federal’s current main location will remain open as a branch after the new building opens in July.
The new location will feature four teller stations, a safe deposit vault, a children’s area, three drive-through lanes, an ATM lane and a plaza.
