Women & Money Project Launched In Pennsylvania

HARRISBURG, Penn. – Pennsylvania’s Treasury Department has launched the Women & Money Project, an effort to support programs to bolster to women’s success at “those stages where women become economically vulnerable,” according to the state.

Kicked off at a meeting at the University of Scranton and with a representative of the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association on hand, the initial seminar was coordinated by Women Impacting Public Policy, which lobbies for businesswomen. It included contract-procurement advice and individual meetings with representatives of companies that handle federal government work.
