FITCHBURG, Mass. – Workers’ CU on Friday named Douglas Petersen interim president and CEO, replacing the well-known Frederick Healey, who served as president the past 15 years of the $780 million credit union.
Petersen has served as the credit union's executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer.
The credit union, one of the biggest in western Massachusetts, said it expects to name a permanent CEO in early 2011.
