RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.–The California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues have redesigned their website.

The new public site features streamlined information and links while the members-only site presents all pertinent information in one place.

CCUL/NCUL Welcomes Bailey

SACRAMENTO, Calif.–The California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues have named Keri Bailey their director of state government affairs.

Bailey joined the leagues in 2005 as the state legislative and regulatory lobbyist after a 10-year career working in the California legislature. In her new position, she will oversee the state legislative and regulatory affairs for credit unions in California and Nevada.

She succeeds Ron Fong.

Andrews FCU Launches New Brand

SUITLAND, Md.–Andrews FCU has unveiled a new brand after 60 years under its previous brand. The new tagline for the credit unions is “Partnership, planning, Possibilities.”

In tandem with the new brand, the credit union has also launched its newly redesigned website.

Mich. CUs Help Members File It

NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich.–Even with several weeks left before the tax filing deadline, the Michigan league is estimating the state’s CUs have helped put more than $5.7 million into the pockets of Michigan families in the form of credits and refunds.

In January, about 100 Michigan CUs began offering “Just file it! We’ll help,” a free tax preparation that includes the Earned Income Tax Credit which can be as high as $4,500 for low-income, working households.
