NCUA Prohibits Individuals From CU Industry
ALEXANDRIA, Va.-NCUA has issued orders prohibiting the following individuals from participating in the affairs of any federally insured financial institution:
* Adelle Herron, a former employee of Peoria Hiway CU, Peoria, Ill.
* Lori A. Kloss, a former employee of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center FCU, Niagara Falls, N.Y.
* Marcella G. Miller, a former employee of Georgia-Pacific Toledo Employee FCU, Toledo, Ore.
* Winston Louis Smith, a former employee of State Employees CU, Jacksonville, Fla.
New Episodes Of Biz Kid$ To Air In 50 States
WASHINGTON-Biz Kid$, the TV program aimed at educating children about finance that is backed by credit unions, is now airing on PBS stations covering all 50 states, according to the National Credit Union Foundation The foundation said during the first quarter of 2009, 13 new episodes of Biz Kid$ are scheduled to air on nearly 330 PBS stations reaching 93% of the U.S.

ACUMA Releases Agenda For Conference
SAN FRANCISCO-The American Credit Union Mortgage Association (ACUMA) has released the agenda for its 2009 Spring Conference, March 30-April 1 in San Francisco. Conference topics will include financial literacy and mortgage banking, FHA Loan Origination Opportunities, and an analysis of opportunities in the current mortgage market, among others.

HarborOne Earns Outstanding CRA Rating
BROCKTON, Mass.-HarborOne Credit Union has received an "Outstanding" rating from the Massachusetts Division of Banks for its Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) compliance, marking the fifth year in a row the CU has earned that ranking.
Though credit unions are exempt from the federal CRA program, Massachusetts requires its credit unions to participate in the state's CRA program.
