Green Car Loans Are Offered

SAN JOSE, Calif.-Technology Credit Union has introduced a "Green Car" loan program offering special lowered interest rates on new hybrid cars. "Tech CU's goal with this new product is to help save its members money on gasoline, protect the environment and help strengthen national energy security-one car loan at a time," the credit union said. If eligible for all available discounts, including the .25% APR discount for the green car, members could receive as much as 1.25% off the everyday rate.

Postal CU Eliminates ATM Fees

ROANOKE, Va.-Roanoke (Va.) Postal Employees' FCU has eliminated all of its ATM transaction fees for members. Roanoke Postal Employees' FCU already had ATMs that are surcharge-free for all consumers at its locations in Roanoke and Lynchburg. Surcharges may be incurred at foreign ATMs.

John Garey is volunteer assistant coach for the University of Wisconsin's men's cross country team, which just recently took home the NCAA national championship.
