Chandler New CEO At Conn. CUA

WALLINGFORD, Conn.-The Connecticut Credit Union Association has named former Minnesota CU Network President Kevin Chandler as its new president. Chandler, who manned the helm at the Minnesota CU Network for nine years, is an attorney and former state senator. Chandler replaces Art Corey, who spent two years as CEO before departing in May to practice financial services law with the Connecticut firm Tyler Cooper.

Frankil Named President of NSC

WASHINGTON-NAFCU Services Corporation has hired David C. Frankil as its new president. Frankil brings 17 years of public policy experience, including 10 years with two major trade associations and seven years managing issues for a Fortune 250 company, the organization said. Frankil most recently served as managing director, Washington Region, for Gates and Co., a management consulting and investment banking firm, and was CEO and cofounder of Virtual Compliance, Inc., a software firm that he grew from concept to a 30-person firm.

Sullivan Retires After 43 Years

WETHERSFIELD, Conn.-Dorothy J. Sullivan, President of Dutch Point Credit Union, will retire on July 31 after 43 years at DPCU. Sullivan began her career with Dutch Point, founded in 1960 by the men's club of Hartford Electric Light Co., as its first employee, and has overseen growth to $156-million in assets. During her career, Sullivan represented Connecticut CUs on both local and national levels, serving on the boards of the corporate, the league and other groups.
