Wright-Patt Credit Union in Ohio promotes strategy officer to CEO

Wright-Patt Credit Union in Beavercreek, Ohio, named Timothy Mislansky as its new president and CEO, effective Jan. 1.

He succeeds Doug Fecher, who announced his retirement earlier this year, the company said Monday.

Mislansky was most recently the chief strategy officer for the $6.8 billion-asset Wright-Patt.

He also spent 20 years overseeing strategic development and plan execution at the credit union and myCUmortgage, a credit union service organization owned and operated by Wright-Patt.

“Not only does Tim bring with him an extensive background with WPCU, but he also brings exceptional experience within the industry in creating new business opportunities. All of this will continue to help WPCU achieve its objectives for our members, partner/employees and the communities we serve,” said Joseph Linsenmeyer, board chairman, said in a press release.

Fecher has been an executive at Wright-Patt for 26 years and president and CEO since the end of 2000.

Mislansky launched myCUmortgage in 2001, building it into the largest CUSO mortgage operation in the country.

“As I reflect over the past 20 years, I’m proud of everything our team has already accomplished and I’m thankful for Doug’s leadership and mentoring over the years,” Mislansky said in the press release.
