Wright-Patt CU Graduates To ‘Savings Race 5-College Bound’

FAIRBORN, Ohio – Wright-Patt CU has launched the fifth year of its Savings Race, this time with a grand prize of $10,000 going to a college-bound student to help them pay tuition costs.

In this year’s Savings Race 5- College Bound five students and their parents will race to reduce debt and increase savings, all while planning for life before, during and after college.

The winner will get a $10,000 scholarship, while the other participants will win $2,000 each.

People can follow the teams’ progress by tuning in to local WDTN Channel 2 News Tuesdays at 5:30 PM; visiting SavingsRace.com for team blog updates, webcasts, and more; and "liking" Wright-Patt CU's Facebook page to get on-going updates from our teams and their Wright-Patt Coaches throughout the Race.

Partnering with the $2.3 billion credit union in this year’s Savings Race are: Central State University, Dayton Development Coalition, Fortis College, Sinclair Community College, University of Dayton, Wright State University and WDTN Channel 2 News.
