HOUSTON – A man wide of girth is being hunted for two local robberies, including one at Associated FCU inside a Kroger grocery store last Thursday.
The robber, called the “XXXL Bandit” because of his size, struck up a conversation with a teller before passing a threatening note demanding money. He left the credit union and the supermarket through an emergency exit in the rear.
