IRVING, Texas – YOUR FCU, a former IBM employees credit union, said it hired Mark O’Bryan, one-time head of EDS CU, as new president and CEO of the $166 million credit union.
O’Bryan will succeed Judy Kelly, who is retiring after leading the credit union for 42 years.
YOUR FCU had a difficult 2009, reporting a $2.4 million loss, $1 million of it related to the corporate credit union bailout.
O’Bryan has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, which includes senior level positions in banks, savings and loans, and credit unions. At various times during a 12-year period, O’Bryan was an ALM committee member, supervisory committee member, board member and CEO of EDS CU in nearby Plano. More recently he was senior vice president and chief business officer of Credit Union Resources, a subsidiary of the Texas CU League.
