'Your Mission, Our Mission' Is Mission FCU's New Promo

Mission FCU has launched a multimedia brand awareness campaign that eventually will include television commercials, billboards, mall posters, radio spots and a new website.

In addition to three new TV spots, a new website is scheduled to be available online by the end of the year. The $1.9-billion CU, which serves 131,000 members, said the awareness campaign-titled "Your Mission is Our Mission"-will continue into 2006.

Mission FCU, which until July 2003 had an education charter but now serves all of San Diego County, said it wanted to make people in the area aware the credit union is an option for financial services.

"In the past, Mission Fed focused on serving the education community, and we did a good job of advertising directly to those groups- good enough to make us one of the largest credit unions in the country," Neville Billimoria, the CU's senior vice president of membership and chief advocacy officer said in a press release. "But now, it's time to let everyone know that we are able to provide the same level of financial services and financial education to all residents of San Diego County."
