Genisys CU, Auburn Hills, Mich., is inspiring art in communities with "The Art Action Experience," an interactive mural-making process for adults and children of all ages.
Align
Align CU, Lowell, Mass., is this year's Leadership Sponsor for the Walk for Hospice supporting Care Dimensions (formally Hospice of the North Shore and Greater Boston). The kickoff celebration for the fundraising portion of the event was held at The Wild Horse in Beverly.
City County
City & County CU, St. Paul, Minn., celebrated its youngest members by hosting Kids Day at its Maplewood Branch. Youth members took part in activities such as face painting, outdoor games and crafts, and those who deposited $10 into their savings account earned a free gift.
Diamond
Diamond CU, Pottstown, Pa., named the five winners of $1,000 Alfred A. Panfile Memorial Scholarships. Separately, the CU donated eight boxes full of needed school supplies to two local United Way organizations.
Connex
Connex CU, North Haven, Conn., said one of its members was the CU's second, and largest, winner to date in the Save to Win program. Separately, the CU donated more than $600 to Guilford Youth Mentoring from the fees it charges for its coin-counting machines.
Aventa
Aventa CU, Colorado Springs, Colo., hosted six member appreciation events at each of its six branches this summer, featuring a catered lunch and a chance to spin a prize wheel.
Bay
Bay FCU, Capitola, Calif., partnered with other businesses to build a home with Habitat for Humanity of Santa Cruz County. The CU's senior leadership and mortgage lending teams were on hand for a special "Wall Signing" event to meet the recipient family.
Ent
Members of Ent FCU's leadership team joined university, community and state leaders in a groundbreaking ceremony for the Ent Center for the Arts at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
Clearview
Clearview FCU, Moon Township, Pa., continued its Members Matter Celebration and Thanks a Million Initiative by sending one member to Pittsburgh Steelers training camp and another to throw out the first pitch at a Pittsburgh Pirates game.
XDI
Xpress Data, Inc., a San Diego-based provider of print and electronic document services for credit unions across the country, donated $20,000 to three charities in the names of the winners of its 2015 XDI Credit Union Chili Challenge.
