Erie FCU
Team Erie FCU raised $1,520 for "Embracing Our Veterans" and collected a van full of food and items for "Project Support Our Troops," which will be sent to men and women in the military currently serving overseas. The $437 million CU is based in Erie, Pa.
Marion Community CU
Marion Community CU, Marion, Ohio, sponsored the grand prize at a local Women's Expo event a trip for two to St. Petersburg, Fla. Separately, the CU raised $1,400 for Relay for Life with t-shirt and luminaries sales.
Ent FCU
Ent FCU, Colorado Springs, was voted the "Best Credit Union," "Best Mortgage Lender" and "Best Financial Advisor" by the readers of the Colorado Springs Business Journal in the 2015 "Best in Business" survey.
Pacific Marine CU
Pacific Marine CU, Oceanside, Calif., awarded several scholarships in its local community.
IC FCU
In Fitchburg, Mass., IC FCU's "Change for Charity" will collect a percentage of all coin machine transactions done by members and non-members alike for three months, with proceeds going to GVNA HealthCare, a provider of home health services.
CU League of Connecticut
The CU League of Connecticut hosted national and local lawmakers at its annual Government Affairs Conference at the Hilton in Hartford, Conn. Separately, the League said the Save to Win prize-linked savings promotion had three winners from Connecticut.
TEG FCU
TEG FCU, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., donated $750 to Sparrow's Nest of the Hudson Valley, a charity that cooks and delivers meals to families with caregivers battling cancer.
NorthRidge Community CU
NorthRidge Community CU, Hoyt Lakes, Minn., filled an inflatable swimming pool with donated goods for a local food shelf.
UVA Community CU
The U.S. Small Business Administration recognized UVA Community CU in Charlottesville, Va., as the Top Credit Union in the Richmond District for the fifth time in the last six years.
Service 1 FCU
A team of employees representing Service 1 FCU, Norton Shores, Mich., walked in the annual Relay for Life Muskegon event, raising a record $13,000 for the American Cancer Society.
