Account Opening Tool Offered

Jack Henry & Associates Inc. announced an online deposit account origination system called Opening Act Express.

The system, announced Wednesday and developed between Jack Henry's ProfitStars division and MeridianLink Inc., lets financial institutions integrate online account opening with any core platform and any online banking platform.

"Opening Act Express offers the flexibility to initiate account opening with the bare essentials and expand to more advanced services — proven scalability that is very important as consumer demand for online services continues to escalate," David Foss, the president of ProfitStars, said in a press release.
