Ambassador Purchases Maryland Firm

Ambassador Financial Group Inc. of Allentown, Pa., has bought Danielson Associates LLC of Bethesda, Md.

Both firms serve community banks. Danielson Associates specializes in investment banking and strategic planning, while Ambassador, a FINRA licensed broker/dealer, focuses on fixed-income sales, trading and balance sheet management.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Danielson Associates president David Danielson retains his title, and its professionals continue to operate out of their Maryland office as a division of Ambassador.

“The Danielson addition not only strengthens our platform, but expands our geographic footprint and client relationships,” Matthew Resch, Ambassador managing director, said in a press release.
