Ameriana in Indiana Disclosed Chief Risk Officer's Retirement

The chief risk officer of Ameriana Bancorp (ASBI) in New Castle, Ind., is retiring.

Timothy Clark plans to step down from the $437 million-asset company on March 11 after 17 years there. The company did not name a successor in its Friday press release, and a call seeking comment was not immediately returned.

Clark joined Ameriana in 1997 as chief operating officer. He has led the company's risk management program since July 2012.

"It is bittersweet to leave the industry that I have been part of for nearly 42 years, but I look forward to spending my retirement years enjoying my family, travel and the non-profit work that I'm privileged to be a part of in my community," Clark said in the release.

Before joining Ameriana, Clark was regional executive and area president at National City Bank of Indiana in Seymour. He has also held senior posts at Central National Bank and Hancock Bank & Trust.
