Ameriana Recovers Reserve
NEW CASTLE, Ind. - Ameriana Bancorp said its third-quarter results will include a gain of $528,000 from discounted operations.
The gain results from recovery of part of a $1,100,000 reserve it established in 1988 for the closing of its Indiana Western unit.
The company said the recovery was due to settlement of a legal action.
