Bank of America today named Howard Boville global head of network operations and engineering. Boville will be based in New York and will report to Bank of America Technology Infrastructure Executive David Reilly.

Boville will oversee the infrastructure and operations that enable the company to move data, voice, audio and video throughout its businesses. He joins Bank of America from British Telecom, where he directed network infrastructure managed services and outsourced contracts.

"Over the next three years, our goal is to enhance the way we deliver network products and services in the company," said Reilly in a press release. "Having someone with Howard's expertise and experience will be instrumental in helping provide reliable, commercially competitive services that meet the needs of the enterprise."
