Banco Santander Mexico now authenticates customers with their voice when they call the bank's automated phone system.

Customers who have previously supplied their voice footprint speak the words, "At Banco Santander, my voice is my password" to confirm their identity. Previously, they had to enter in PINs and passwords that could easily be forgotten.

The bank, like U.S. Bank and USAA, is using technology from Nuance Communications Inc.
