Bank of Commerce Puts CEO on Leave

Bank of Commerce Holdings in Redding, Calif., said it has put Michael C. Mayer, its president and chief executive officer, on administrative leave.

Mr. Mayer was put on leave for matters not related to his duties at Bank of Commerce, the $605 million-asset company said Tuesday.

A Bank of Commerce spokeswoman said that Mr. Mayer had been CEO for six years.

Patrick J. Moty, a 22-year veteran of Bank of Commerce, was appointed the interim CEO. Most recently he was executive vice president and chief credit officer.

Bank of Commerce is the parent of Redding Bank of Commerce and Bank of Commerce Mortgage.
