Bank of Sun Prairie in Wisconsin Hires New Chief

Bank of Sun Prairie in Sun Prairie, Wis., has a new chief executive.

The $287 million bank said in a press release Wednesday that it had hired Jimmy Kaufman, who will also be its president. He previously worked as senior vice president of strategy and integration at the $26 billion-asset Associated Banc-Corp in Green Bay, Wis. Kaufman joined Associated in 2004, holding several senior-level posts while there.

Kaufman succeeds Alice Hensen, who has been president and CEO since 2006. She plans to retire at the end of the year, after working at Bank of Sun Prairie for 48 years.

Hensen is the only female bank president in Dane County, Wis., which includes Madison, according to the bank's website.

Bank of Sun Prairie has four branches.
