Bankers Trust Fills Latin Derivatives Post with Old Hand

Kaveh Taleghani has rejoined Bankers Trust Co. as vice president of derivatives in the Latin American merchant bank.

Mr. Taleghani's responsibilities include managing Latin American equity and fixed-income derivatives. He reports to Susy Sarfaty, managing director of the Latin American merchant bank.

Mr. Taleghani, who originally came to Bankers Trust in 1992, left for Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette in January 1995.

"We are thrilled to welcome Kaveh back to the emerging markets derivatives area," said Alberto Franco, managing director and head of trading for the Latin American merchant banking group. "He will be key in consolidating our efforts to service clients in cash, plain-vanilla options, and derivative structures in the region."
