BNCCorp in North Dakota Names Permanent CEO

BNCCorp (BNCC) in Bismarck, N.D., named Timothy Franz its permanent chief executive less than a month after he become interim CEO.

Franz, the company's former chief financial officer, was also named president. He had been serving as BNC's interim leader since July 24, following the death of Gregory Cleveland.

"Franz is a highly experienced and able executive," Tracy Scott, the company's chairman, said in a press release late Friday. "Furthermore, as an officer of BNCCorp and BNC Bank for the past seven years, he is deeply immersed in the culture of integrity, community engagement, customer service and financial stewardship that are the hallmarks of our business approach."

Franz, who joined the company's board earlier this year, is a former KPMG partner who focused on the financial services industry, serving Wells Fargo (WFC), TCF Bank (TCB) and several community banks.
