Callahan & Associates has hired J. F. Sean Hession, a former executive at First National Bank of Omaha, as the consulting group's president and CEO.
Hession succeeded Chip Filson, who stepped aside last year as the company's CEO but remains its chairman.
Hession held a series of staff and operational responsibilities at First National Bank of Omaha, which offers a popular credit card agent program for credit unions, and co-founded a health care transaction processing firm that grew from to a $40 million corporation in five years. He has also been responsible for the strategic planning and daily operations of a vendor that served credit unions and community banks.
Filson, along with Ed Callahan and Bucky Sebastian, founded Callahan & Associates in 1985.
