Card Briefs: Visa Ads Highlight Consumer Credit Help

Visa U.S.A. is launching a national radio advertising campaign to tell consumers about alternatives to filing for bankruptcy.

The campaign will mention the National Foundation for Consumer Credit, an umbrella organization for local offices around the country that offer budgeting help and other financial advice.

The campaign coincides with one of the peak times for bankruptcy filing. Historically, September and March see the largest surges in petitions, according to Visa.
